LETTER TO PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES
December 1, 2015
Dear Prospective Candidates:
Thank you for your interest in the position of Pastor of Zion Baptist Church, Ambler, Pennsylvania. The Church Search Committee began in September 2014. Since that time , the Committee has worked diligently to assess the values and needs of our Church so that we can present them to you and others in this Church Profile.
For over 119 years Zion Baptist Church has been a place of worship. As the representatives of our congregation, we have pledged our time and collective experiences to discern who we will recommend to the Church to be Zion’s next Pastor. We are searching for a person who will be a faithful pastor, an inspiring spiritual mentor, and a visionary leader. We earnestly desire to expand our existing ministries and create new ones, all for the glory of God and our love for Jesus Christ.
We assure you that we will do our utmost to make this a fair and professional process that takes into account the concerns and needs of our candidates as well as our Church. We invite you to take a good look at Zion Baptist Church. We are comfortable with close scrutiny, and we welcome any inquires or request for additional information.
Again, thank you for your interest in Zion Baptist Church of Ambler Pennsylvania. May God continue to bless you and your ministry.
IHS,
